Welcome to our OPAL DREAMING Site where opal lovers can surf and view our collection of opals, opal rough and jewelry at your own pace. Before the Dreamtime the land was flat and barren. A featureless dusty place devoid of life. Spirit beings came to visit and not liking what they saw they began to change the land to bring joy and beauty to its dismal landscape. As they traveled the land they created the trees, mountains, streams , animals and filled it with all living things , yet there seemed something lacking so they created mankind to fill their wonderful new land with laughter, song and to make corroboree to celebrate this wonderous creation. During their travels they left footprints in the dusty earth which turned to opal and on departure they left behind this beautiful stone as a gift to mankind so that others would know that spirit beings had walked this way alonga - long time before the coming of man and also a reminder that we do not own the land but are merely its caretakers. International.: We use USPS Global priority for all overseas shipping. Shipping is set at $ 7.00 for overseas orders and is adjustable depending to weight/ size of consignment.
